Symantec Sales Account Manager
We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established technology solutions provider with a strong reputation built over nearly three decades in the industry.
As part of continued growth, they are looking to appoint an ambitious and commercially focused Sales Executive / Account Manager to develop opportunities within their Symantec division.
This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys building long-term client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and managing the full sales process from initial engagement through to close.
The Role
You'll be responsible for driving revenue growth across a portfolio of cybersecurity solutions, developing relationships with both new and existing customers, and working closely with vendor and distribution partners to maximise opportunities.
The position offers a blend of new business development and account management, allowing you to build a sustainable client base while generating new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and develop new business opportunities across the cybersecurity market.
- Build strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.
- Manage opportunities throughout the entire sales cycle.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Deliver solution-based sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Work closely with vendor and distribution partners to drive growth.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting information within the CRM system.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets.
About You
We're keen to speak with ambitious sales professionals who have experience selling technology, software, or cybersecurity solutions.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience in cybersecurity, software, IT services, or technology sales.
- A proven track record of generating new business and closing deals.
- Strong relationship-building and account management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- A consultative and commercially focused sales approach.
- The drive and motivation to succeed in a target-driven environment.
Highly Desirable
- Experience selling cybersecurity solutions.
- Exposure to endpoint security, data protection, backup, cloud security, or enterprise software solutions.
- Experience working with vendor and channel partners.
